  I take commissions normally based off a painting that I have already made.  If this is the case I use the same drawings but with a different specification ie. size and colours.  I would generally speak to the customer and encourage them to first decide where the work will be living as installation is key. Then I order up the panel, which I have custom made, before starting the work. I usually charge £250 per day plus materials. However if somebody wants a personal drawing of say a family home or holiday I would have to spend much more time preparing the drawing and that would be reflected in the price.
